scoring
-
The bun is not only the delivery mechanism for the chicken, sauce and toppings but is also a very integral part of the overall chicken sandwich ratio and experience.
The bun will be scored based on freshness, constitution and squish.
-
The chicken is the hero, this is why we are here. This, more than anything makes or breaks a chicken sandwich.
The chicken will be scored based on crunch (if fried) char (if grilled), flavour in seasoning, juicyness or dryness of the meat.
-
The sauce adds an additional layer of flavour and is intended to cut the level of fat content by adding some amount of acidity.
The sauce will be scored on flavour, and amount. -
Toppings are not imperative to a good chicken sandwich but they can elevate a good chicken sandwich to a great chicken sandwich. There is also a wide variety of toppings that you can encounter and can greatly impact the favour and texture of the sandwich.
The toppings will be scored based on flavour, texture and amount.
-
Mouthability is important to the user experience of eating the chicken sandwich, while the ratio speaks to the relationship of elements making up the chicken sandwich.
Mouthability and Ratio will be scored based on the height and width of the overall chicken sandwich in relation to an average adult human mouth and the ratio between each component within the chicken sandwich.
-
The score for each component will be tallied together and will result in a maximum possible score of fifty points.
